My name is Daniella Cangialosi and I have created this for a friend, family, and baby in need. Please read Emily and Stan’s need for help!


Brooke got a viral disease when she was in the hospital after birth. This caused swelling in the brain (meningitis), which caused a stroke and more then a dozen seizures. The stroke distorted her left frontal lobe of the brain. A few months later she developed another virus which triggered her virus in the brain and from that, her body thinks her brain is a foreign object. This cause an autoimmune disorder that tells her body to attack the brain. It is very rare, to the point where is doesnt have a name... only letters to describe it.

She is undergoing an intense and harsh variety of treatments including chemo-like treatments. The idea is to suppress her immune system to the point of it being non existant,in hope that if it grows back, it will not tell her body to attack her brain.

Due to Brooke receiving Medicaid I, Emily, am unable to have a full time job. Doing so, Brooke would lose access to Medicaid, and therapy would cost even more than it does now. I babysit as much as I can, but Brooke not being able to be around small children, this makes it difficult Stan holds a job as a manager of a store. Due to the thousands we pay out of pocket for therapy in addition to food, mortgage etc. we are asking for help.
