Brooke Young & Family Need Your Support

Ever since Brooke shared her story of recently being diagnosed with breast cancer, she has been surrounded by family and friends asking how they can help. Brooke’s world is her family. She is a devoted wife and proud mother of 4 beautiful girls with a love for God that anchors her with strength to battle against this recent diagnosis. Her journey needs prayer and the utmost love and support from her family and friends.

Brooke’s story in her own words…

Today begins a new journey, a journey I never thought I would be on. After a few appointments and tests were done, the words were spoken, “The results came back and it is breast cancer.”

Prior to those results coming in, a flood of emotions went through me, imagining what the outcome would be. My mind went all over the place…..thinking of scenarios and the future.

Since my diagnosis, I have had a sense of peace and optimism. I have an amazing support system of family all over the country and wonderful friends and family in WV.

Today, I completed my first day of chemo/immunotherapy Pray for our girls as they go on this journey with me, pray for my husband, pray for my body during and after the treatment, pray for my mental and emotional health each week, pray for my support system and pray for the doctors and nurses as they help guide me to being cancer free

We are asking family and friends to help us raise money to ease the stress and burden of medical expenses so that Brooke can focus her energy on healing and loving her beautiful family.
