Our good friend Brooke Park has fallen on hard times and needs our help.
Brooke became symptomatic in May of 2018, she was unable to complete all of her day to day activities, unable to eat a full meal, and has had difficulties at work. Brooke has had to have a number of diagnostic test, procedures, and been on a number of prescriptions. Now the doctors have found she has had a gall bladder that hasn't worked properly and a major blockage in her digestive sytem causing the symptoms.
After suffering severe symptoms Brooke was taken to an urgent care office where she was diagnosed with a staph infection and cellulitis on her arm preventing her to go back to work at the school and has been unable to lift her arm or endure the pain. If the doctors cannot start the healing process she will hospitalized and unable to care for Lathan.
Although she has insurance the near $1,000 dollars of out of pocket expenses that has already been paid to co-pays and deductibles and loss of wages of over $800 alone have left her unable to keep up with her normal living expenses.
She is struggling to pay for her 4 yr old autistic son with ADHD, Lathan's education and care. Brooke needs help making a down payment on another car that she needs for work and to transport her and her son to their doctors appointments.
Brooke is a phenomenal woman, daughter, friend and especially single mother. You would describe Brooke as smart, bright, happy and always smiling. Always putting others first and stopping to put a smile on your face. She is doing an amazing job raising a beautiful son and helping her mother recover from numerous surgeries.
With all the days missed at work, Dr. co-pays, meds, and upcoming surgery and with the holidays fast approaching, Brooke is finding it hard to get caught up and still provide a wonderful Christmas for her son and family.
She is asking you to please help with the financial burden of these hardships so she can rest and recover fully over christmas break and start the new year off 100% healthy.
