Brooke Carpenter, and family house fire

Donation protected
My name is Dianna Simmons. I am organizing donations for Marylynn Purvis and the Carpenter family. On Friday, December 12, at 8:15 in the morning, their home caught on fire while the adults took the 3 little kids to school and were on the way to work. The oldest daughter, Brooke, was trapped in the home. She was able to call 911, but by the time rescue got there, she had already passed out from smoke. She is in Chapel Hill now on life support. The doctors are doing everything they can to save her. The family has lost everything. There is a 61/year-old woman, a 45-year-old man, two 12-year-old twin girls, a 10-year-old boy, and the 18-year-old that was trapped inside. I am accepting clothes, furniture, personal needs, anything that people want to donate. I've had a lot of people ask how to donate cash, so that is what this is for—the people that want to donate money to the family. Everything will be going straight to Marylynn so it can either help her rebuild or start over because the home did not have homeowners insurance.

We've already had some cash donations from Hall Park and other churches such as Charity Baptist Church, which have already been given to her to help with the travel to UNC Chapel Hill and somewhere to stay while there. Thank you to the community and everyone that has helped or is going to help; they greatly appreciate it. We also need prayers for not only the family but for Brooke in Chapel Hill. Hall Park is doing a movie night on Wednesday, and all proceeds will be going to this family. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at [phone redacted] or on Facebook. If anything changes with Brooke’s condition, I will update the needs of the family as far as if any arrangements need to be made. Again, anything and everything that the community can help with is greatly appreciated.

Pastor Norwood Tadlock Jr. at Harvest Baptist Church in Hope Mills will also be doing a love donation tonight for this family as well.
I’m asking our great community of Grays Creek and Hope Mills to come together for this family in their time of need this close to the holidays.

UPDATE: unfortunately Brooke Carpenter has succumb to her injuries and has went to be with her Lord and Savior in the family is also going to need help with burial process, as for this baby did not want to be cremated and burial process is expensive!
