❤️ A Long Road Home: Supporting Brooke & Austin Sheese After a Tragic Accident

Two families' lives were shattered in an instant this past Sunday morning, and we are reaching out to our incredible community—our village—to wrap our arms around two of the most wonderful people we know, Brooke and Austin Sheese, and their beautiful young children, Grant (5) and Eva (1).

Brooke and Austin were victims of a horrific car accident caused by a drunk driver. Though our hearts are heavy with rage and sorrow that this happened to two wonderful people, we're channeling all our focus now into their journey toward healing and recovery.

[The Moments Before the Tragedy]

The sheer heartbreak of this accident is magnified by how and when it happened. On Saturday night, Brooke and Austin had dropped their children, Grant and Eva, off with their grandparents for a rare and much-deserved night out as parents.

Tragically, on Sunday morning, while heading back to pick up their babies and coming into Gosport, they were struck by a drunk driver. This innocent moment of returning to their children was violently interrupted, leaving them both critically injured and facing an impossible road ahead.

[The Road Ahead is Long]

Brooke and Austin were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Their journey to recovery will be incredibly long and difficult.

[Brooke's Injuries:]
• She suffered two broken legs and a broken arm.
• She had a significant laceration that is now under control.
• She is currently sedated and on a ventilator to help manage her pain and keep her body calm.
• Praise the Lord, there are no brain injuries, and she was able to squeeze a hand, giving us a glimmer of hope! She is facing surgery on her femurs within the next few days.

[Austin's Injuries:]
• Austin is facing a broken femur and a concussion.

[Bringing Mommy and Daddy Home]

Right now, the Sheese family is in a terrifying, suspended moment in time. They are facing an extended stay in the hospital, countless surgeries, grueling physical therapy, and the mental and emotional trauma of this accident. This is time that should be spent celebrating holidays with their families in the coming days, raising their babies side by side, and simply being a family.

Their recovery will mean months—if not longer—of being out of work, resulting in an immense and immediate financial crisis.

Your donation will go directly toward:
Medical Bills & Equipment: Covering the staggering costs of their hospital stays, multiple surgeries, and eventual rehabilitation needs.
Loss of Income: Providing stability for their young family as both Brooke and Austin are unable to work during their recovery.
Childcare & Family Support: Helping cover essential expenses for Grant and Eva, ensuring they have the care and resources they need while their parents are fighting to get better.

[Our Village, Our Strength]

We are asking you to join us in supporting Brooke and Austin as they fight their way back to their children. Whether you can give $5 or $500, every single dollar will help lift the impossible burden of financial stress so they can focus entirely on healing.

If you cannot donate, please share this campaign widely and continue to hold Brooke, Austin, Grant, Eva, and their heartbroken family in your prayers. Pray for strength, pray for successful surgeries, and pray for an end to their pain.

"This too shall pass," but they cannot pass through this moment alone. Let's show them the power of our village.

Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your generosity.
