Brooke and Zack Hallgren

Our beloved friends Brooke and Zack Hallgren lost the love of their life on November 22, 2022. As she passed from what they believe to be SIDS at daycare, she was found unresponsive by daycare workers during a nap. It truly is a parents worst nightmare.

Baby Layla was the most smiley, cheerful, sweetest baby. Her parents adored her, she brought them so much joy. Anyone who knows Brooke knows how much she longed to be a mother. She basked in joy through her pregnancy, she had chronic pain and headaches but she never complained. She was so thrilled to be giving birth to a baby girl. Brooke is selfless, kindhearted and empathetic. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She is an amazing mother and wife, friend, sister and daughter. She is in tremendous pain.

As Brooke and Zack navigate the trenches of their grief, we want to help in any way possible. Funds will go towards funeral expenses, leave from work and any other areas they could use help in. No one should have to bury a child, and we won’t let the financial burden add to the stress and heartache they are already facing.
