WHO: Brookdale Hospital health professionals attending to and caring for COVID-19 patients
WHAT: Brookdale Hospital health professionals have little to no personal protective equipment to shield them from the COVID-19 patients they are caring for (e.g. gloves, masks, paper scrubs, eye goggles, shoe cover, elbow-to-wrist arm cover)
WHEN: ASAP!!!
WHERE: Brookdale Hospital -- Brownsville, Brooklyn, NY
WHY: Brooklyn currently ranks as the second highest borough in NYC with COVID-19 cases. Brookdale Hospital ICU is at capacity, patient beds line the hallway, and the morgue is overflowing, and it's currently being called a "medical war zone". These health professionals need more protective equipment to align with the continuous rise in COVID-19 cases!
