Hi, my name is Jasmin. I am starting this page for my brother and his family. My brother Julio, better known as Jay Toro is a dedicated, hard working family man. Over the years, he supported his family working two jobs and became a New York State Court Officer and has been for 16 years now. His wife, Suzanne, is a fitness coach and a veterinary technician. On their spare time, they both find the time to dedicate to their daughter with acting in Riverdale Children’s Theater and soccer in Yonkers. You will also find them constantly traveling with their son, Julian- a high school student at Mount St Michaels Academy, in baseball tournaments all over.

On March 8, 2023 around 12:50am, 671 Bronx River Road in Yonkers a fire destroyed several homes. One of these homes was my brother, Jay’s.

His son Julian woke up to use the bathroom and smelled smoke followed by people yelling, “Fire”!
He woke up his mother and father and little sister. After not being able to run out the front door, they were forced to used the fire escape and leave behind their belongings.

God is great! And they are fortunate to have each other and an amazing community of people willing to help and send love.

I was asked to create this page as a way of being able to help them. Please, if you cannot donate- prayers are ALWAYS welcomed!!! We love you for it.

Thank you in advance xoxo
