UPDATED 7-28: Hello, I'm Bronwyn Jones, an 8th grade science teacher and new mom. This last year has been perhaps the most difficult of my life. I'm 26 years old, having to deal with things no new mom or 26-year-old should have to deal with. I have been diagnosed with non-epileptic seizures. Back in September, when I had my beautiful baby girl, I needed an emergency C-section due to extremely bad preeclampsia. Mercifully, she is very healthy. However, ever since then, my health has been on a rapid decline. In January, I started getting light-headed, dizzy spells. By April, I was being rushed to the ER for a mini-stroke. Now, I have sudden terrible dizzy spells, in May I had pain and pressure so bad I ended up in the Emergency Room again. By June, my seizures began to give spasms as well, it was then I had a lengthy hospital stay in Georgia where I received my diagnosis. I am now on medication to treat these seizures, and things are improving, but I still suffer from them daily. But between the emergency room visits, tests, and also being the main provider for my family, our medical bills are well into the thousands and growing rapidly. If you have any money to spare, even if it's just a few dollars, that can go a long way to help our family. And if you don't have any to spare, I know times are hard, please share. Thank you for reading. Thank you to anyone who has helped us already.
