Help Bronte fight breast cancer

Hey everyone my names Mahalina, I'm one of Brontes friends. 

Bronte is 21 years old and very recently was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been diagnosed with a triple negative infiltrating ductal carcinoma. This is one of the rarer cancers - making up 10-15% of diagnosed breast cancers. It’s practically unheard of at Bronte’s young age. In fact we’ve been told Bronte may be something of a medical anomaly, perhaps being the youngest person to receive this diagnosis. 
This particular cancer is very challenging to treat - chemotherapy and surgery are the main treatments. Many breast cancers are treated with hormone blockers but this cancer will not respond to many of the available treatments. It is also more aggressive than other breast cancers making treatment more difficult and a longer road. Bronte’s tumour is large and although more scans and tests are ahead of her surgery has been pencilled in for around the 20th of December followed by up to 6 months of chemo to counteract the fact that this sort of cancer often returns. (Surgery will depend on the cancer being contained to the breast). There is the strong possibility that after the chemo Bronte may need to make a decision to have a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. Bills for body scans, ultrasounds, bone scans, biopsy, GPs and surgeons are already mounting and we’re only about 3 weeks or so into the journey. We are also hoping to explore some holistic options/counselling and advice in terms of diet and supplements working hand in hand with the treatment that the medical community will provide. 

Bronte, her fiancé Bevan and her family have a long road ahead of them. Bronte won’t be working through this period and all the family will suffer from lost work as they rally around Bronte and travel to get her the assistance they’re looking for. All funds raised will assist the family during Bronte’s time of need.
