On a personal level, I have lost a number of people very close to me. I want to give back to our community and the Narromine Cancer Support Group that do so much for our local people facing the burden and cost of Cancer.
On the 12th of March, I will be shaving my locks off and becoming a baldy, like those close to me who had lost their hair due to treatment. All donations will go directly to the Narromine Cancer Support Group. I will upload the results when shaved so you can see the glorious results!
More information about Narromine Cancer Support Group Incorporated: Held fundraising events and managed donations given to our group by other community groups. Our group lent equipment to cancer patients wishing to stay in their own homes. Our group also gave financial support to cancer patients to offset travel costs to receive treatments. Anyone in our shire who has received a cancer diagnosis is eligible for assistance.
