Broncs Fight Through Leukemia

#Cowboy Strong
On Friday, September 22nd, Bronc Vineyard (15) was diagnosed with B-cell ALL Leukemia. (B-cell All Leukemia is the most common and treatable form of Leukemia.) Bronc was med-flown to Denver Children's Hospital that evening. A spinal tap confirmed that Bronc has no cancer cells in his spinal fluid, which is a fantastic step to recovery. It is a terrifying experience to learn that your child has been diagnosed with this disease and must undergo chemo treatments to be cured.
Bronc and his mom, Amy, were given a medical plan for the next 2.5 years. Bronc will be in Denver, Colorado, for the next month, facing intense treatment. His first round of Chemo was given on Monday, September 25th. This first month of Bronc's journey will be the hardest medical-wise. His bravery and resilience to the treatment have us all humbled and awe-inspired.
Bronc is an athletic kid who loves roping, basketball, and being outside in general. This diagnosis, unfortunately, will make Bronc miss his sophomore year of basketball, but he will be able to get some roping in after the first month of treatment.
Bronc has a younger sister, Brindle, who is receiving the best love and care from her grandparents, Jeanine and Richard Bohlman, while she remains home in Wyoming. Bronc's family and friends will play the most vital support during this difficult time; he will face the biggest battle of his life for an estimated 2.5 years.
While remaining in Denver for the next month with no official housing, Bronc and Amy will stay either in a B and B or housing provided by the hospital. Many hospital visits/overnight stays lay ahead during this 2.5-year treatment plan for Bronc’s cure. Prayers, positive thoughts, and energy are of utmost importance and very much needed and appreciated.
Many have asked how they could help. Amy is the sole provider for her family, and relieving her of the financial pressures will allow them to prayerfully focus on the love and mutual support needed during treatment, healing, and recovery. I know they would be eternally grateful. So, to help support the Vineyard/Bohlmann Family, this GoFundMe is being created.
There are T-shirt sales that are starting soon, as well as bracelet sales being hosted by the Panthers Boys Basketball Team. When Bronc and Amy return home, there will be a Benefit Auction held by Jake Underwood and a ranch rodeo that is still in the works. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
