Well folks, I come here in a time of desperation. On Friday Aug. 30 the night before celebrating my engagement and committing myself to the woman of my dreams, I fell in mud and seriously broke my leg. Tibia and Fibia both broken with between 3-6mm deviation, additional hairline fracture in my foot. Fist doc I went to see said I would need emergency surgery, so I went to the ER. ER referred me to an ortho surgeon to tell me what was actually wrong but even just the first appt will be more than I can muster financially. Now the real kicker, no pun intended. I am a ride-share driver, which means all income I had, evaporated overnight. Having just moved to Dallas I have no savings built, no hourly gig, nothing but a roof. What I do have is a partner who is working herself to the bone to keep us afloat. My family that is gathering the small bit they can to help provide support, but they have had so much taken by medical expense, there isn't much left. So I implore you, from the bottom of my heart, for any help you can offer. I've spent my life trying to not ask for help but instead help others and stand on my own two feet, but now one of those feet is broken, and I'm asking. Please help if you can.
