Broken to Bliss Animal Rescue
Donation protected
As most people are aware my little bundle of energy completed his journey from the streets of Cyprus to his new home with me on the 27th October 2024. Since then he has continued to come on leaps and bounds, but none of it would have been possible without the hard work of Broken to Bliss Animal Rescue. They literally saved the life of Keo (also previously known as Mr Darcy), rescuing him in an emaciated state from the streets of Cyprus and facilitating his transport over to the UK to come and live with me. Before he was flown / ferried / driven to meet me the charity fed him, looked after him, organised all of his vet treatments, vaccinations, his passport and made sure he was healthy enough to travel. All of this won’t have been cheap, and this is just one example of the many dogs they are trying to help.
The Cypriot coastline is roughly 648km / 402.6 miles. I think my little walking machine probably explored as much of it as he could before he was rescued. So, this year Me, Keo, Nic and Milo are taking on the challenge of cumulatively walking this distance together.
The money that we raise will all be donated straight to Broken to Bliss Animal Rescue as soon as we’ve hit our target distance. We are aiming to raise £1 per mile.
We’ll be using Strava to track our progress and will post regular updates. I know that money is tight and people don’t tend to have the same disposable income as we may have had a few years ago, but every donation is so gratefully received by the charity and will go so far in helping these beautiful dogs ❤️
