Broken Pipe, Cracked Foundation
Donation protected

I had a water pipe break under my house in the cement slab under my bathroom and bedroom. As a result, my water bill is over $800 (it is usually $40), I have had a plumber here for four whole days, and a backhoe to dig the trench in my yard. I had to repair and repaint the wall in the bathroom where the plumber cut through to find the leak. I still need to get the foundation of my house repaired and the floor in my bathroom redone. I also need to replace the floor in the second bathroom because both toilets overflowed when the water was turned back on.
My homeowners insurance (American Family) is not covering anything because it was not "sudden and accidental".
I am a 53 year-old first grade teacher, single mom of a 17 year old in college. My annual salary is less than $45,000 and I don't have enough money in my saving account to pay for all these repairs.
I have severe arthritis and am not able to do much of the work myself. I was hoping to retire within the next two years, but I cannot afford health insurance and now I will have nothing left in my bank account.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for helping someone, whether you choose me or someone else who could use some help right now.
