I’ve asked for help before, long ago.

For many years I was ok. Slowly getting better in my career and processing being a young widow.

I have been working hard and doing my best to save for an emergency. The emergency came in September 2023 when I fell and broke my leg. I did my best to get through without asking for donations outside one physical therapy appointment. I worked even harder, and slowly physically recovered, though my bank account did not as I was paying out of pocket for thousands of dollars worth of medical expenses.

And now another emergency; on February 20, 2024 I was hit in a crosswalk by an SUV. I am engaging the legal system for help, but any settlement may be a while from now. I need funds now to help cover the new emergency medical expenses and unpaid days off I had after the hit. Any help you can donate will be used for medical copays, medication expenses and supplies related to this, (vision) specialists, replacement personal items destroyed in the crash such as eyeglasses, potential ongoing physical therapy, etc.
