Hello everyone,
I am creating this fundraiser to help with expenses regarding my broken leg. Tuesday August 23rd I shattered the bones in my right leg. I broke my leg in 3 different places and completely through my Tibia and Fibia (my foot was hanging off to the right). I went to the emergency room where they gave me a splint and sent me home. When I visited an orthopedic surgeon the next day he immediately admitted me to the hospital and got me scheduled for emergency surgery the following morning. I now have 2 plates, 13 screws, and 2 anchors screws in my leg and am in excruciating pain from this healing process. Insurance only does so much so this whole order will be costing me thousands of dollars and caused me to be out of work for two weeks (one with no pay). I will also need extensive physical therapy to learn how to walk again as he doesn’t know if I can fully recover at this time. These funds will be used for medical bills, healing equipment, physical therapy and for the week (possibly more depending) I missed from work. I hate asking/begging for help as I try to be as independent as possible but everyone can use a helping hand every once in a while.
