Update: Surgery was June 9th. Went a little longer than originally planned, and had to stay in recovery for a couple hours so they could have me walk. Walking on it feels so woerd, Steven thinks it's just because I've manipulated the way I have walked the past year lol but I do feel taller. Pain is a lot worse than I had anticipated, I'm not sure if it's because the incision is bigger or what, but I thought I would be more dependent, and that's not the case. Steven has to help me up and down into bed, to the bathroom, and anywhere and everywhere I want to go. I'm limited on my movement, per the doctors instructions, but every if I was able, I don't think I could. Thank you all for prayers, checking on me and my family, and for the donations. Last year I was misdiagnosed by our hospital. They told me I had sciatica, refused to do an xray, had me go to a chiropractor, shoved many different medications at me to get me to go away, and when I finally got a doctor to do an xray, I found out it was broken. I was rushed to Loma Linda for emergency surgery. The doctors tried to save my hip but I recently found out the surgery was unsuccessful and my only option is to have a total hip replacement which is scheduled for June 9th. The doctors say I will be out of work for 3 months as of now. Depending how I heal, I may be able to return to work sooner. I have lost some mobility in my left leg, in pain daily, and hoping this surgery will make me feel more like me again and ease the pain. Although I will be receiving part of my income, I'll still be taking a financial hit. Traveling back and forth for doctor visits, staying in a hotel, and being able to get food is costly as well. Any little bit helps.
