Broken Back From Getting Struck By Car On Highway

Hi, my name is Wendy Porter. I’m 45 and a mother of 3. I was on the highway when temperatures dropped and ice had formed in an instant. A car in front of me had lost control and hit the guard rail. I saved my car from crashing into him but ended up in the ditch. My CNA instincts kicked in and I had to help him! I left my vehicle with my family friend to render aid to the male in the vehicle that had crashed. I had just made it to his vehicle when we both were struck by a car that did not slow down. I was knocked out on impact. All I remember was waking up and getting staples in my head and being told I have a collapsed lung, multiple fractured vertebrae, broken ribs and broken fibula. I am in good spirits and am in very good care! Absolutely anything will help as I do not have insurance and will need help along the way. Thank you for your time and God Bless!
