Hi. This is both awkward, and embarrassing to post.

I moved to a new city a few months ago, and since then, finding a job has been impossible. I've been searching since I moved here, about 6 months ago, and I've eaten through my savings. I'm trying agencies, directly on websites, going into venues, etc. Nothing.

I originally applied to benefits, but later backed out as I felt embarrassed, and assumed I would get a job within a month or so. It didn't work out. My savings are gone, and I'm now selling my own belongings to try and fund my bills/rent. I never thought moving to a new city would be so punishable, seeing as I moved here to start a new life - and this city is the same tax and rent pricing as my previous one, so it's not like I moved to some big, fancy city.

I have an upcoming meeting for benefits, but even then, that income won't be enough to fund everything. I'm at a loss. I have no idea what else to do, other than asking for help. I feel like a fool, kicked to the dirt. I'm an open and honest person, I work hard, with years of employment. I understand the job market is in shambles, but I didn't realise it is THIS bad.

Again - I'm sorry for asking for support, but I have no idea what else to do. Many thanks if you're able to fund me, as everything will go to bills, rent, and food. No fun money, or disposable income. I just need something whilst I wait for benefits, and a job.
