Broke my wrist - Need surgery

Hey everyone. I took a bad fall off a Lime scooter and ended up with a broken wrist. It’s my dominant hand, so I’m pretty much out of commission for a while.
I have a physically demanding job, so I can’t go back until I’m healed. This means that until I'm healed, I'll have no income. Coupled with the lack of insurance, things are honestly really difficult. I still have to pay for rent and groceries on top of the medical bills despite my broken arm.
I don't like asking for help, but right now I need it. If you can pitch in a bit, it’ll go toward:
- Rent & living expenses while I’m out of work
- Medical costs (splint, meds, follow-ups, surgery, especially due to lack of insurance)
- Dog food for my girl Maci, who still needs walks and snacks regardless
