BroFundMe: Brody had Surgery

Brody has been the absolute best boy, and the center of my world, for over 10.5 years. He is healthy and active, lives a life of abundance and adventure, loves everyone he meets, and makes everyone fall in love with him in return.

Two weeks ago, I discovered a large mass on his left hock; the puppy docs said it was bad and needed to go ASAP. He also had a tumor on his right eyelid that was seemingly benign but was blocking his line of sight, a relatively small but questionable spot on his chest, a huge skin tag hanging from his undercarriage (at risk of getting caught or injured), and a marble-like mass under his “armpit” area. The aforementioned mass and the large mass from his hock have been sent off for biopsy. We’re awaiting results to find out whether all malignant matter has been removed.

Broman is chillin’ out on the couch for a couple weeks and is using a ramp to ease up and down. He underwent anesthesia and incurred 5 incisions, plus an I.V. Add in three meds to make sure hims is all better (side note: he’s the best boy about taking them). This bubba is going to be back to his bubbly self in no time. He’s taking this all like a champ, and everyone agrees he will be a whole new dog once he’s healed.
