Brody's Rally to Recovery
Hi Friends & Family!
As you may know, on the morning of July 7, Brody Tate—our nephew, brother, son, grandson, and friend—was involved in an accident on a neighboring farm in Manzanola, Colorado. Brody sustained serious head and facial injuries and, despite initial concern that he would not survive the long ambulance ride to the state’s most advanced trauma center, we are incredibly grateful that he has stabilized and is now undertaking the long road to recovery.
Brody has made incredible progress in the days since the accident but still has a way to go. He is recovering from 25+ facial fractures (including a broken eye socket and jaw), a cracked skull, brain bleeding, and severe injury to the carotid artery that feeds blood to his brain. Despite miraculous neurological progress, the most current pressing concern is healing of his lungs & breathing.
Friends & family have setup this fund to help support Brody and his family—Kurt (dad), Kelli (mom), and Molly (sister)—during the journey to recovery. Funds will be used to meet immediate medical expenses and, as able, support long-term care needs.
We greatly appreciate your support & investment in Brody’s speedy recovery. The prayers we have felt and seen answered has just been amazing! We really give all the glory to God on his recovery; and we know Kurt & Kelli are just completely humbled by the Lord and your outpouring of support. We love you!
Couple of pictures of Brod; warning, they're a bit graphic.
