Brody's Bold Adventure
Donation protected
Steve and Sarah Jezewski are a great couple. Over three years ago Brody was born into their family; a gorgeous bouncing boy to start their parenting journey.
After a good pregnancy, surprisingly to them, he was born with a rare neuromuscular disorder called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita or AMC.
"Arthrogryposis" means the joints are curved or crooked. "Multiplex" means it affects more than one joint. "Congenita" means the condition is present at birth.
With this disorder they found out that there is a rigourous treatment schedule. Brody has had to go to constant physical therapy sessions, occupational therapy sessions and has had multiple surgeries and cast put on to try help his joints. Steve, Sarah AND Brody have been through a lot!
And all still with a smile on their faces. When you meet their beautiful family you would never be able to tell the grueling schedule they go through. They have to drive through to theraphy two to three times a week, they have to fight their insurance for things to help their boy get around and have had to see their precious son go through multiple surgeries, which can't be easy.
June is AMC awareness month. So I thought this would be a great time to give this family a miracle! I would like to raise this money for Steve and Sarah to help fund these various activities they have to fight for, so that they don't have to do it alone! There are special chairs, ramps, handicap accessible things that Sarah and Steve need for Brody to be able to be more comfortable!
Join me in making this miracle happen! Any amount helps! If you cannot help with a cash donation - No worries - June is AMC awareness month so wear blue because now you know what AMC is and you can spread awareness!
