As you all know Brody was Admitted into the hospital on 2/14/15 with loss of function to his right side. After a CT scan showed swelling and lesions on his brain, he has also lost some of his vision. . The drs were concerned that he may have a tumor so a MRI was ordered. Praise GOD no tumor was found. The dr then told us it was neurological and a spinal tap would come next..
The spinal tap fluid came back clear so no infection detected and a pic line was inserted today.
They have diagnosed him with ADEM. I will put a link in that explains it all.
They have started him on medication and said it would be at least 5 days before they would see any change, he will also have to undergo physical therapy py and not sure how long that may take.
With Cynthia and John both out of work to be with Brody funds are limited. Staying in the hospital is getting expensive.
