for those of you who don't know Brody is literally the light of our lives. he is the best boy. And if he has trusted you enough to let you be his friend he will never leave your side.

Wednesday morning when we went to drive Eric to school Brody and jumped up and did something to hurt yourself. It wasn't until Wednesday evening that we noticed he was off-balance and we decided to wait until his vet opened Thursday morning. He laid right next to my bed all night. In the morning he could barely walk from the add room into the living room. Rob had to carry him out into the car, and into the vet where we were then sent to have a neurological consultation.

he had to be brought out of the vet and into the animal hospital on a gurney that's how quickly it progressed

He had to get and MRI and is currently (as of 5pm Thursday) in surgery for a compressed ruptured disc and needs a 3 day overnight hospital stay and 4 weeks up to 3 months of rest and rehab to get better.

my heart is in 1 billion pieces because he is literally my everything my big baby.
