My name is Michelle. This is my grandson, Brody. Just a couple days ago, he fell onto pavement head first. He is in Riley Hospital's PICU. He has a Traumatic Brain Injury. He has some skull fractures, bleeding on the brain, swelling of his brain, and contusions. He is 6 years old and has such a wonderful personality. He's super sweet and enjoys life! We are hoping to see all of these things again. At this time, he is not yet using the right side of his body. He has many other areas that he will need rehabbed as well. All therapies are to begin soon. Since the accident, Brody has been life-lined to 2 different hospitals. He has a long road ahead and my daughter will not be able to work as many hours as she typically does.
