Brodie’s Fight

Hi, my names Dallys I have started this gofundme to help raise funds for my nephew Brodie and my sister Cassie

Cassie and her four kids grew up on the Fraser coast area until early this year when they decided to move to Dysart QLD

while living in Hervey Bay Brodie worked as a Deck hand on the trawlers, when Brodie was just a toddler right through to now has always been about fishing it’s safe to say fishing is in his blood!

(everyone who knows brodie knows how much of a fishing nut he is)

when Cassie and her family moved to Dysart

Brodie landed a job in Moranbah on a cattle station Brodie absolutely loves his new job

on Sunday the 14th of August Brodie and his two mates were travelling back to the station for work Monday morning when tragedy happened

Brodie and his two mates hit a patch of gravel causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle causing it to roll,Brodie was found 50 metres from the wreck ( a massive thanks to the young girl who stayed by his side till emergency services turned up)

from the accident site Brodie was then airlifted to the Townsville university hospital Were he was put in an Induced coma

Brodie went in for emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding and to fix his spleen, brodie has suffered multiple lacerations and fractures all over his body, swelling and bleeding on the brain

Brodie is currently still fighting hard to reduce the swelling/pressure on his brain

brodie has suffered numerous injuries from the accident and has a very long road ahead of him.

cassie lives 6hrs away from Townsville University Hospital

at home she leaves behind her 3 other kids to be by Brodies side

costs are adding up quickly with her weekly rent in Dysart, weekly food bill for kids at home,Accommodation in Townsville and fuel to and from the hospital

All funds raised will go towards listed above and will go towards Brodies recovery process
