This is Brodie Watson. He will be 11 years old in December. Brodie is my nephew and godson. He is my brother Rick Gambacort’s grandson and my niece Michelle and Mark Watson’s beautiful son. Brodie has Hypomyelinating Leukodystrophy type 4 (which is a disorder in his brain that had starting to affect the way his body moves. ) He was once able to walk and run and now has a lot of trouble just standing. He also requires support of a wheelchair.

He lives in a house with lots of stairs that he can not use.

Because his symptoms are progressing there needs to be considerable construction to his existing home to make the ground floor wheelchair accessible for a bedroom, bathroom and living space. The construction alone will top $200,000.00 not to mention outfitting equipment, ramps and eventually a wheelchair accessible van. We are hopeful we can raise some money to help his family with the cost of making Brodies home PERFECT for him….we appreciate you taking the time to read Brodies story.
