In July 2017 Brock was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He underwent six months of Chemotherapy. In December of 2017 he went back for a PET scan and it showed no signs of cancer. March of 2018 Brock had another PET scan and a small spot had formed under his arm. Doctors were hoping at the time it was just a fatty tissue. In June 2018 he went for another PET scan which showed the small spot was in fact the return of Hodgkins Lymphoma. It now has spread to his underarm, throat and neck. The treatment plan this time around will be more aggressive. Brock started Chemotherapy in July and continue until October 10th which will be his next PET scan. If his PET does not detect any cancerous lymph nodes he will then be admitted into the hospital to get a stem cell transplant. If the PET scan comes back with signs of the cancerous lymph nodes he will have continue chemotherapy until it shows none. After the stem cells are removed Brock will start a six day aggressive chemo treatment. On the sixth day his blood will be put back into his body by blood transfusion. Brock will remain in the hospital for 4 to 6 weeks for recovery. Upon leaving the hospital Brock will then have to remain at home for 7 weeks and travel back and forth to Moffitt several times a week for doctor visits. Brock will be out of work for at least six months.

The first time around Brock and I knew we could financially handle the treatment plan we were given. With Brock's line of work he gets hot and sweaty which is something you can't do while undergoing chemotherapy. He will be out of work this time for a minimum of six months. This all is based on the doctors hopes, it could be longer. With Brock being a provider for his family he is very stressed about money on top of the cancer scare. Brock is an amazing husband and father to his 3 young boys. Brock was born and raised in Hardee County and tried to be very active with his boys, which he was until we got the cancer call in 2017.

This being the second time undergoing treatment our family will take a huge financial hit. We are asking for the $15,000 to help cover medical bills, household bills, over night stays and gas to get back and forth to the Moffitt Treatment Center in Tampa for the 6 month period.

Any amount is appreciated. If giving money is not something you can do at this time please send prayers. Our boys and us will greatly appreciate it. Brock will be sitting in hospitals for a duration of time. Any cards and well wishes for him to read while there can be sent to 415 Moncrief Rd Wauchula, FL 33873.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story.
