On behalf of Dan, Stacy (Berry), Katelyn and Brock Leibhart Family:
Early Sunday morning, February 7th 2021 our 16 year old son, Brock, was in a rollover accident. He was flown from Imperial, NE to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. His injuries are severe; 5 broken ribs, a brain bleed, contusions of his liver, spleen, kidneys and lungs, 2 broken thoracic vertebrae and a spinal cord injury. He underwent surgery to stabilize his spine and will be moving to Craig Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital on February 18th for 6 weeks of intense therapy. Our health insurance would not approve the rehabilitation. Craig is best equipped to handle the needs of a pediatric patient that is 6'3" 220lbs.
The fundraiser will help us to pay for his medical expenses, rehab and any medical equipment that he will need.
Brock is an active 16 year old who loves playing football, dirt track racing and hanging out with his friends. He is a sophomore in high school and is also involved in FFA and our youth group at church.
We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support that we have received from our family, friends and our community.
