As most of you are aware Brock is very intelligent and naive.  Unfortunately,  as in the past and more so in today's environment, Brock was severely bullied at school and online.  While Linda and I were very involved with the school to counter this issue, we did not fully consider or understand the impact the consistent bullying was having on him psychologically.  Because of this Brock has been diagnosed with PTSD, with Dissociative Symptoms of Depersonalization.  

In straightforward terms he created a fantasy world to protect himself from the bullying.   We have been fortunate to find him an excellent facility here in Florida, that is rated highly for long term behavioral health care.   As with all health care, it is not inexpensive and 'long-term' in this case will be anywhere from 6 months to a year.  

We are doing our best to utilize our own savings to keep this a family matter, but have realized that in the end we will exhaust all our resources and still be short of funds to ensure Brock's full recovery.  It is with great personal humility that I reach out to many of you for kindness and assistance.  Any support will enable us to ensure Brock receives the best and fullest  treatment for his recovery.   The goal we have set will be a small nugget of the greater levy it will take get us to the end.  Thank You.
