Broadbent Emergency Fund

Cameron Broadbent, 28, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on the morning of August 4th, 2022. Cameron’s wife, Katlin, found him unresponsive on the floor of his two year old daughter’s bedroom while she played nearby. Katlin performed CPR for over ten minutes while waiting on EMS to arrive. EMS and the amazing staff at Atrium Medical Center worked tirelessly to save Cameron, but tragically were unable to do so.

The next day, Katlin and Cameron’s friends and family gathered to help Katlin with arrangements. Katlin was the epitome of strength, playing with her two year old and making several phone calls that would bring the strongest wife to their knees. The part that stuck with Katlin’s loved ones the most is when Katlin lowered her head and said “I just wish I could keep this house for Amelia. He was so proud of building this house for his family.”

Cameron worked endlessly to make sure his family had security in their homes, cars, and finances. However, this unexpected tragedy leaves Katlin unsure about her future. As Cameron’s closest friends, we are asking you to help us help Katlin keep their dream home and pay for other day to day necessities that his family may need. If you can, please consider donating to help Katlin and Amelia keep some normalcy in their life and stay in the home they built with Cameron.
