Bro. Steve Bondo Johnson Family Needs Our Support

“Alarm at the Gate” goes out to all in the Bond of Kappa Alpha Psi, particularly the brothers of Beta Phi Chapter, whether Knoxville College or the University of Tennessee and the Nupes of Mu Rho, successor to The UT Colony.  I'm saddened by the loss of my Line Brother and close friend Ernest Steven Johnson SP ‘76, better known as 'Bondo' to most.  Bondo transitioned to Glory on Sunday, April 19th.  Sadly, he leaves behind his wife Lisa, daughter Tamara and grandbaby Taleah. They are struggling now and YES they need much assistance with final arrangements. To elaborate, Bondo spent his last three years struggling with his own health in addition to attending to his wife and daughter who both had cancer.  Despite losing his employment, he went back and forth from Memphis to Houston and Atlanta relative to taking care of and providing for them above himself and as best he could.  Although many of us would do the same, I never want to imagine  having to walk in his shoes.  So brothers, family, friends and anyone that may be touched by this plea, please contribute as best you can.  Let's help them out. No amount is too small.  Even a few dollars is better than no dollars. Bless each of you and may God's richest and best be yours.
