Hello and God bless you, my name is Jevon McMultry I am reaching out for help with my up coming bone marrow transplant. Almost one year ago I was Diagnosed with a condition called Aplastic Anemia, this disease has turned my world upside down. I had to come off of my job as an Employment Specialist for individuals with disabilities because of of my weekly need of both Blood and platelets and the constant monitoring of those levels. The doctors that I have been blessed to work with have come to the conclusion that i cannot continue to receive these temporary treatments and a bone marrow transplant is not an option it is necessary to save my life. I do not yet have the exact date for this procedure as we are going through the testing and donor matching phases. the funds raise through Gofundme will help to pay for my three month relocation to the Los Angeles area during the procedure. it will also help to maintain my home in Bakersfield so that i have a home to return to. these funds will provide food and supplement the income of those who provide the 24 hour care that is mandatory for the procedure and it will help after I'm home to cover my bills until I'm fully recovered and able to return to work.
