Brittney's Surgery: A Step Towards Relief

Donation protected
Four years ago, Britt started working for me and my family. We both took a chance on one another while being in vulnerable situations. During this time, I have watched her grow and develop immensely. It has been deeply inspiring to see her dive into self-improvement. She has turned some of the hardest situations in her life into her power. She is an extension of our family in so many ways. We are incredibly grateful for her presence in our lives.

The last year has been incredibly hard for Britt with her health declining more and more. She has had unclear answers and many moments of defeating symptoms. I have watched her improve her lifestyle and live to the strictest standards in hope for relief. She has finally found the root cause of her symptoms, which will require a specialized surgery.

We all have been on the receiving end of Britt's love and generosity. My hope is to allow it to come back to her through this platform. She needs relief in many areas of life right now and this is one that would allow her to move forward without the financial stress. It's not the amount that matters, but the meaning behind it. Thank you for caring, thank you for loving Britt.

May we all be well,
Chelsey Milton

A personal message from Britt:

My name is Brittney, and I’m a 43-year-old mother, daughter, and friend who has spent the last several years fighting for my health without even knowing the true cause of my decline.

In my late 20s, I received silicone breast implants. For over four years, both implants were ruptured without my knowledge. When they were finally removed, the capsules of scar tissue surrounding them—often filled with silicone particles and inflammation—were left inside my body. I had no idea how dangerous that could be.

At first, my symptoms were small and scattered—severe fatigue, headaches, joint pain. But over time, they grew worse and began affecting every part of my life. I now struggle daily.

Specialists now suspect that my immune system is attacking my body, likely triggered by the silicone and toxins trapped inside the capsules. This condition is often called Breast Implant Illness—and for many women, the only way to truly heal is to have the capsules removed with a specialized surgery called an en bloc capsulectomy.

Unfortunately, this surgery is not covered by insurance, even though the risks of leaving the capsules in are real. It is a complex procedure that must be done by an experienced surgeon to avoid further complications. I have already spent thousands on tests, treatments, and specialist appointments, and the financial strain has become overwhelming.

I’m not the type to ask for help easily, but at this point, I can’t do this alone. My goal is to raise $10,000 to help with the following costs:
• The en bloc capsulectomy surgery by a surgeon in Austin, Texas, who specializes in health issues caused by capsules left in the body.
• Post-operative care and healing support
• Travel and lodging costs to reach the specialist

Your support—whether through donations or by sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to getting my health and life back.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, caring, and standing with me in this fight.

With the greatest gratitude,
Brittney
