In Memory of Brittney Starr Alwais

11/27/23: Last night after a 13 Day Battle at 11:33 p.m. Tammy's beautiful daughter, Brittney Starr, took her last breath with Nicole & her by her side. We have no doubt Dave was there with open arms. A light has gone out in our lives but the love she left will shine forever. We are shattered and our hearts are demolished. We all know Britt has struggled since Dave’s death. Tammy has had her share of worries but she never imagined it would be an asthmatic cardiac arrest that would take her life because she didn’t have her rescue puffer. She was left with severe anoxic brain injury from lack of oxygen.

It’s painful to say goodbye to someone you don’t want to let go of but more painful to ask them to stay when you know they want to leave. Sometimes saying goodbye is a painful way to say I love you.

Brittney will live on forever within the beat of Tammy's heart and all the hearts of those who loved her.

We are requesting your support and generosity to help alleviate the unexpected financial burden of the funeral she is facing. She is heartbroken and hope that our community can surround her with the love and compassion and help she needs.
