Hello everyone,

My name is Brittney Lockett, and I’m 25 years old. Recently, I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis. On July 10th, I was admitted to the hospital, where I stayed until the 20th. Not long after, I was readmitted and spent time in the ICU with Pseudomonas bacteremia.

I am currently on dialysis for stage 3–5 kidney disease. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers — for healing, for my kidneys to improve, and for my strength to be restored. My next step will be transferring to a long-term acute care facility (LTACH), where I hope to continue my recovery and work toward regaining my independence.

This journey has been a challenge physically, emotionally, and financially for both myself and my family. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than I can ever put into words.
