Help Brittney & Carley Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
Hi, my name is Ashley Skow, and I am Brittney Haupert’s oldest sister. Today, on March 19th, my sister Brittney and her 9-year-old daughter, Carley, lost everything in a devastating house fire during a blizzard in Iowa.
While we are beyond grateful that they are both safe, along with their sweet dog, Nala, the reality is that they have lost their home, belongings, and sense of security. To make matters even more difficult, Brittney has been off work for the past month due to emergency surgery, and she does not have renter’s insurance to help cover her losses. She is a full-time college student and a dedicated CNA, but this tragedy has left her with nothing and no immediate way to rebuild alone.
How Your Donations Will Help
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
Securing a new home for Brittney and Carley
️ Replacing essential belongings (clothing, furniture, everyday necessities)
Purchasing food and household supplies
Caring for their beloved dog, Nala
Helping with living expenses while Brittney is still recovering and unable to return to work
This is an unimaginable situation for any family, but together, we can help them start over. Every donation, big or small, will make an enormous difference in giving them hope and stability as they rebuild their lives.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to spread the word. We also appreciate any prayers, leads on rental homes, or other forms of assistance.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has already reached out with support, donations, and kind words. We are incredibly grateful for this community and for the love shown to my sister and niece.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley Skow
