Hello!
As you all very well know, volleyball is a huge part of my life. I have worked so hard ever since I was a freshman in high school to get better at volleyball. My goal was to play in college, and I was able to have this amazing opportunity to play for the University of La Verne. In my time here at ULV, I've been able to accomplish so many of my goals, and in my last year here I plan to push harder and accomplish even more. All four years I have been awarded all-tournament team for the Pacific Coast Classic, a major tournament where colleges from all over the USA participate in. My sophomore year I was also awarded all-tournament team for the Colorado College "Spike It Up" tournament. and Lep Invitational Tournament, and second team All-Conference for SCIAC, Southern Collegiate Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. My junior year I was awarded all-tournament team for the Leo Invitational, First Team All-Conference for SCIAC, and most of all, I achieved my dream of becoming an All-American and putting my name up on the banner in our gym. My senior year I have a lot of goals and things I still want to accomplish for myself. I am so excited for this season, and plan on leaving everything I have on the court and a legacy at the University of La Verne.
The reason for this GoFundMe account is that I have been given the most amazing opportunity to play for the Division 3 Team USA Women's Volleyball Team. It is such a special honor to play volleyball internationally, and always been a dream of mine. We are touring through Brazil and playing multiple other international teams along the way! We are touring in June 2016, and I need your help. I have to pay for $3,300 for food, hotels, and flights, and I also need to pay $500 for my flight to Florida for practices before we leave for Brazil. And lastly, I need to pay $200 for a working Visa for when I am out there. This totals $4,000. I don't expect my friends and family to fully support me in this endeavour financially, but every dollar really helps me. I have from now until the end of May to raise this money, so anything that you could afford to give would mean the world to me!!! Thank you all so much for the endless emotional and financial support to help my dreams come true :)
