Just a few short days ago, Brittany was walking and talking - excited about hip surgery and the new possibilities that awaited after recovery. Tuesday morning, she was flown to UCHealth in Aurora, CO for acute liver failure with the looming possibility of needing a transplant. There are still so many questions, it all happened so fast. She is in the ICU but no longer on the liver transplant list. Although she’s slowly getting back to herself, she’s not out of the woods. She’s young, full of life, and so resilient. There is not a clear timeline for recovery and it is likely she will need to be on dialysis. I’m asking for donations to help Brittany and her support system to cover some of the costs of traveling - things like gas, groceries, and lodging. Life is expensive so any little amount helps.
