We are extremely grateful for each and every one of you and are excited to share about all that God is doing in our lives! As you watch the video and read through this, I would ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in what that could look like.
Where we were...
Earlier this year, I went to the doctor for an eye examination. I had noticed blurred vision in my left eye that was not improving. I was sent to a specialist for further review. The specialist ran tests and diagnosed a cancerous tumor in the eye that was causing the blurred vision. There were two medical treatments offered, neither of which were great options, but we chose to proceed with a surgery for local radiation and go from there. Surgery was scheduled for April 21, 2021.
Every step of the way, Neil and I were prayerful in our decisions--hearing the doctor's word and taking it back to the Lord for His direction. After months of prayer and fasting and going through multiple appointments, we received a word directly from the Holy Spirit and He said, "Did I give you April 21 as a deadline for your healing?" I considered the question and responded, "no...but, the doctor said...". In that moment, the Lord began to speak to my heart and give understanding and revelation about how He is continuing to firmly establish His plans for my life in spite of the circumstances. God has not changed His mind about the hope and the future that He prepared for my life before the foundation of the world!!! The Lord said, “medical treatment is not My provision for you, I have healed you by Jesus stripes! Will you trust Me?” I immediately cancelled my surgery and we have never looked back. Neil and I are confident in the Word of God and we believe and trust Him completely. I WAS HEALED by Jesus stripes! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, it is the evidence of things not yet seen. (Hebrews 11:1). What the enemy intended for harm, God will use for our good! In this experience, God revealed His plans for our family and for my life specifically and has even begun to accelerate the call on our lives.
Where we are going...
About a month and a half after receiving this healing revelation from Jesus about complete healing from cancer and walking away from medical treatment, an opportunity arose that caused a stirring deep in my spirit. We learned that Christ for all Nations has a training facility in Orlando, FL and a vision of expanding their reach to preach the Gospel around the world in a greater capacity by training up more evangelists in how to lead and preach at mass crusades around the world. This training facility hosts an Evangelism Bootcamp that is a three month intensive training program with a three week “initiation trip” to Africa where the students will participate in preaching the Gospel throughout schools, villages and cities where millions of people come to the crusades and are supernaturally healed, delivered from demons and set free from oppression and come to know Christ as their personal Savior!!! How incredible is that?!?! This is who I am, it is in my DNA to share the Gospel and to see others powerfully encounter Him! Neil and I prayed about it and I submitted an application to the school in May. The last week of June, I received a letter of acceptance to the Bootcamp beginning August 2, 2021. HOORAY!!! Neil and I spent some time processing the possibilities and praying into what this would look like for our family. Ultimately, we felt strongly the Lord had provided this opportunity, specifically in this timing and that I am to go. Remember what God had said about His plan for my life not changing because of any circumstance?! The time is NOW! All my life He has prepared me for this moment and even in the midst of opposition this year, He has used it to prepare the way for His plan for my life to prevail. We are expectant and excited!!! As you can imagine, this was a significant decision for us and has a tremendous impact on our family. We believe that impact is not just during the Bootcamp, but for generations to come! As we are obedient to the call on our own lives, our children get to witness what it looks like to live a life fully surrendered to Jesus and learn to trust Him with their own lives and future. I had a vision shortly after Neil and I got married about our kids traveling the world and preaching the Gospel! I believe this time will also sow seeds in the hearts of our children to dream BIG and that NOTHING is impossible for God! Neil has made arrangements to work remotely as much as possible to support with the kids homeschool and we will make plans for them to travel to visit as often as possible over the next three months before I leave for Africa. We trust God will provide grace for our whole family in this four months and that He will also provide the finances that we need to make this happen. We have already seen financial provision coming in through my real estate business and donations!
The money that we are raising will cover the Bootcamp tuition, the initiation trip to Africa, rent in Orlando for the three months I will be staying there, and helping to cover expenses at home while I will not be working. School tuition and the funds for the Africa trip are due immediately. Rent for my stay in Florida is also due immediately, as I will need to be out there in just two weeks and options are already scarce.We are also trying to budget for Neil and our three young kids to come and visit on multiple occasions throughout the time I am gone (this is a LONG time for me to be away from our 2 yr old, 8 yr old and 10 yr old). Will you please prayerfully consider partnering with us in this adventure to see the glory of God revealed in our lives and impact the world around us?? Will you please share this story with others that you feel led to share with and who might want to sow into this transformational season in our lives and ministry?? When you give to this cause, you are directly impacting the lives of not only our family, but many who will be impacted by the Gospel.
