Brittany’s series of unfortunate events

It’s 5 AM as i type this out, holding my newborn wishing so badly i could hop in my car and rescue my sister! She just moved into her brand new apartment 2 days ago. 2 DAYS. Last night the storms flooded her whole complex. 2+ feet of water, most of her stuff still in boxes on the first floor. Laptops, belongings, and even the refrigerator literally floating away. Her renters insurance doesn’t have flood coverage. Brittany has been working and saving forever to get her own place in Dallas. This is a sublease that she started renting from another sweet girl, that’s all her furniture in there! Brit had just moved what little she had in on Saturday. My heart breaks to see so much of it lost in one night! Her car? Swept away in the streets.

Of course I wish i could raise enough funds to replace everything ruined, but the biggest things are her computer AND her car. Brittany directs animation and voice over productions, and had been working on building her own business from home for the last few years. Help me help my sister get another laptop, and probably a cash car to get her by! We may not be able to salvage everything that was ruined, but at least can get her started on replacing the most important stuff.
