Hello loves,
As some of you may know, I have been going back to school to get my degree in Religious Studies through Liberty University. With recent changes to my vocation, I have been praying how the Lord would use me next. My heart and passion is to use my experiences so far in life to help women and children by sharing the rescuing love of God and to help bring peace and joy by sharing the gospel of Jesus. I have been praying over Isaiah 6:8, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ and I said, ‘Here I am. Send me!” After many months of praying, I felt the Lord pushing me towards completing a mission trip this summer in between semesters at school. I have always said I wanted to make the world a better place. I see so many lost and hurt. I am only one person but with the Holy Spirit in me I believe us together can make a beautiful impact on this world. I am ready to be a voice for the lost and hurting. I want to be the Lords hands and feet. God said go and I am obedient to Him, so here I am on my way to follow the Lord's calling on my life.
I will be raising funds to attend a two week mission trip to Cambodia and Thailand to partner with Destiny Rescue with other mission partners from around the world. Destiny Rescue is an internationally-recognized Christian non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children trapped in the sex trade and human trafficking. Their vision is to rescue the sexually exploited and enslaved, restore the abused, protect the vulnerable, empower the poor and be a voice for those who can’t speak up for themselves. Destiny Rescue realizes that human trafficking is a global problem. They are determined to respond to God’s call to set captives free worldwide. Until no more children are sold, forced or coerced into the sex trade, Destiny Rescue is fully committed to fighting for their freedom, their restoration and their futures.
The Bible says, “Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people” (Isaiah 58:6 NLT).
Please consider prayerfully supporting me! Whether it’s 1 dollar or 100 dollars, any amount goes towards the team trip to Cambodia and Thailand. It includes flights, accomodation, meals, and transport. Through this you are helping me serve and make a difference in the lives of children rescued from human trafficking and in impacting Gods Kingdom through ministry, evangelism, and advocacy, all for the glory of the Lord, Jesus Christ!
I understand that it is a short turn around on raising funds as I need to raise $4,000 by June 1st for the trip in July. But I know if God calls me to it, He will bring me through it. If you could join me in support by prayer, sharing, supporting my ministry or if you have any advice on mission trips (in particular to these two countries) I would greatly appreciate it. Please pray about this and see what God puts on your heart to help me and these children/women. Thank you for your kind hearts and always supporting me in so many different capacities.
