Brittany's Journey: From Recovery to RN

Hello Everyone! Some of you, (most of you) may know me, For those of you that don't, My Name is Brittany, I am a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and currently a student.
I have been very open and honest on social media about the struggles of trying to provide for my family as a single income household, as well as attend nursing school full time. It truly is quite the challenge, and this far I have been able to do it on my own, while maintaining a 3.9GPA. I am now currently in a position that I need to reach out for help, to meet my deadlines. It's not the easiest thing for me to do, but here I am :) I am asking for help, because I truly believe that nursing is my purpose. It is my passion, and I want to see my education through, to be the first college graduate in my family, Is a goal that is very important for me to achieve !
Those that know me, know that I have come quite a long way to get to this point in my life. For those of you that don't know me, I will give you a bit of a backstory.
In 2016; I lost absolutely everything due to a drug addiction.
And when I say everything, I mean absolutely everything.
But, Glory to the Most High!! What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for GOOD! And thanks to the love and kindness of some absolutely wonderful people and their support, I made the choice to give up my life to Christ, get myself back on track, and GET BACK UP! I fought for my children, for my family, and for myself.
I attended Hosea House Christian Recovery Home for women, & I am proud to say I was the first woman to ever graduate that program after one year and six months recovery time, with my life back in tact as well as full custody of my two beautiful children. Since My graduation I have continued to stay sober, and although not without difficulty, I am celebrating 9 years this year. During this time I have also obtained my certification as a nursing assistant, and have worked multiple jobs for many years to make a way for my family. However, I am no longer in a position to work multiple jobs, as many would know, Nursing school is very demanding and requires alot of focus, time, and dedication, in addition to financial resources that I just don't have access to as a single income household.
I started this GoFundME, Because I have tried every other route in the search for assistance and the funds are just not there, or my applications for assistance have been denied.
I would be so thankful to any of you, that could donate, and I welcome you to pass my fundraiser along to anyone that you believe would be generous enough to selflessly support my fundraiser ! Even if you can't donate, please pass this along, and pray that God would meet the need and make the provisions that are needed.
I have spent much time in prayer and counsel asking if I should be so vulnerable and ask for help on a public platform. But I am believing that God will lay me on the hearts and minds of others that would be able to be of assistance, I am also humble enough to accept that I can't do this all on my own. I am not asking for a penny more than is needed for school related expenses, I am also paying some of my own tuition and mileage, But In addition to that I do need things such as medical equipment, specific uniforms and shoes, books, study guides, castle-branch expenses, and health/physical/vaccination expenses. Every little bit counts & is welcomed!
I also want to take this time to extend a tremendous amount of gratitude to all those that have supported me this far! as well as any and all that continue to support me throughout my journey through school. I pray that your families as well as your homes would be blessed abundantly for your kindnesses.
If you have any questions please feel free to private message me on facebook!
Thank You Again!
