I made this page for my friend Brittany. She wanted to share her story with you. She is in need of some help. Please read what she has written and contribute to help her in her time of need.
Hello everyone. My name is Brittany and I could use your help even if its just a couple dollars it could really help me get out of my situation.
In 2013 I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis. I was very sick and lost my job as a gymnastics coach. I worked as a nanny/babysitter since that time but it became increasingly harder to do with my health slowly deteriorating. Just receently my health took a turn for the worst. My disease has progressed to secondary progressive MS and I am forced to walk with a cane when I am able to get out of bed which is not often enough. Any physical exertion is exhausting in itself.
I am powerless over the outcome of my physical decline so all I can do is keep a positive outlook. Being unable to work now my financial situation has fueled my stress level which is only adding to the decline in my health.
I have been approved for disability however my car has already been repossesed and I dont know when I will recieve my first check from disability. So here I am swallowing my pride and reaching out for help. I have always been so independent and not having a car has stripped away the last bit of independence I had. I have so many Dr. visits I have to attend weekly that I feel like such a burden to my friends and family asking for rides all the time. I would not normally ask but I only have two weeks before my car gets auctioned off and is gone for good. I need $1250 dollars to get caught up on my car payments plus repo and towing fees. I have $3500 as a goal so I can get my car back and hopefully not need anymore assistance before I get my disability.
