My name is Brittany McMahon, and I'm 38. My life had changed in May of 2024 when I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. This journey, even though it may seem short to some, has been the longest journey of my life. Having to travel back and forth to Baton Rouge every three months for scans, ultrasounds, and long doctor visits, while still working full-time, is getting to be extremely tiresome not only for me but also for my husband. This journey has not only changed our lives physically and emotionally but also financially. After many appointments, missed days from work, and lots of unanswered questions, my cancer FINALLY has an eviction date.
On November 11, 2025, I am scheduled to have a full hysterectomy. This surgery will be very costly, and I anticipate being out of work for at least six to eight weeks for recovery. This extended absence will unfortunately make it difficult for us to cover essential expenses and other necessities.
To my beloved friends and family, I am humbly asking you for support. Every monetary donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless each and every one of you!!!!
