Brittany's Kidney Transplant

Hi everyone - I need your help! As many of you know, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called membranous glomerulonephritis back in 2005. For the first 11 years, I was very fortunate to be able to manage things pretty well with medication. However, back in 2016, my kidneys stopped responding to the therapy and we had to try a new course of treatment. That was effective up until March of this year when it was discovered and confirmed by a biopsy that my body was no longer responding to any medical therapy. It was at this point that I was informed that I am in need of a kidney transplant. One of my sisters will be donating one of her kidneys to me, so this health issue is obviously having a big impact on our family medically, emotionally, and financially. Insurance will only cover part of the total expenses for my transplant. Due to the severity of the disease, I am immunocompromised and at a much higher risk of infection. This has rendered me unable to work, especially because of Covid-19, and therefore I cannot raise the funds on my own. I am asking for any help you would be willing to give me toward these uncovered medical expenses. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL (or too large) and any donation will be so very much appreciated.
