I am Katie. I am starting this fundraiser due to the tragic and sudden loss of my best friend of 22 years, Brittany Ries. This is to help her mother and her precious 3 year old son James with funeral costs and other expenses. Brittany was killed in a motorcycle accident October 5. James’s father also lost his life in a motorcycle accident before he was born. This family has endured so much loss. Brittany’s smile lit up the room when she walked in and she would go to any lengths to be there for anyone. Her mother Dawne is currently unemployed. I am at loss for words at this point.
