Brittany Long’s Brain Tumor Surgery

Hi there! My name is Brittany Stewart, and this fundraiser is for my incredible best friend Brittany Long’s emergency medical expenses.

After suffering through 4 days of severe migraine and months of other issues, Brittany sought specialist after specialist to determine the problem.

After a MRI a brain tumor was found and with further investigation it is believed to be a pituitary brain tumor.

The tumor sits dangerously close to the optic nerves and needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible so she doesn’t lose vision.

Brittany will need finances for accomadation, travel and expenses to spend the needed 8 weeks in the city for sugery at Sloan Kettering in NYC . 1 week for prep, 1 week surgery and hospital time 6 weeks close by for recovery and emergencies. A biopsy after surgery will determine if it is benign or cancerous.

Brittany is a hard working mother to her two year old son Ariyan and currently lives in Athens, Greece.
